John Christian "Yanni" Bohren
Of Counsel
Yanni Bohren believes that every case he takes is his most important case. He founded Bohren Law with a mission to make his clients feel like part of his family and not just a case number. As a committed trial lawyer, Yanni focuses most of his time learning about his clients’ injuries, understanding their challenges, and building their cases on a personal level. In the near 10 years that Yanni has been representing clients coast to coast, he has learned that no two cases are alike, and every client deserves to have their unique stories told in their own voice.
Yanni is a committee member of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego – Plaintiff’s Bar, a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy in both the Trial Skills and Deposition Skills programs. He is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association and Charleston County Bar Association.
Yanni received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where he was a 4-year NCAA Division 1 varsity wrestler and editor of the college’s publication, The Brigadier. He attended law school at Ohio Northern University – Pettit College of Law where he volunteered as a high school mock trial coach and prepared tax returns through pro bono programs.
Yanni is a proud U.S. Army veteran and commits to regular pro bono work in the veteran community. When outside the courtroom, Yanni loves rescuing dogs and is wholly committed to his Church. He actively supports the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Charleston Youth Development, Animal Humane Societies, and Veterans’ causes nationwide.
Yanni is licensed in California, all California Federal Courts and South Carolina.
